Description

Circa 1820; remodelled C and L Ower 1881. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay, classically-detailed terraced house. Coursed sandstone rubble, painted timber and cement rendered dressings, random rubble to rear, slate roof. Cill band to 1st and 2nd floor, eaves course, corniced blocking course with parapet and dies; architraved and corniced windows to ground floor in margined panels, architraved windows to 1st floor with pilastered and lugged margins to centre window, margined window to 2nd floor centre flanked by pilastered windows, slate-hung voluted

dormers with finialled round-headed scalloped pediments.

FRONT ELEVATION: wide 2-leaf panelled door to centre with moulded round-headed fanlight, pilastered doorpiece with polished Peterhead granite nookshafts, balcony above with arcaded balustrade, window to left and right, 3 windows to 1st and 2nd floor, 2 dormers.

REAR ELEVATION: irregular arrangement of single and bipartite windows; 2 canted dormers.

INTERIOR: not seen.
