Description
Clatto Cottage, located at Clatto Reservoir in Dundee, was designed by engineers J & A Leslie in 1874. This single-storey cottage is built in the Scots Baronial style, featuring rubble construction with ashlar detailing. The building has an L-shaped plan and includes a crowstepped gable on the left, which has a canted bay topped with a castellated parapet. There is also a crowstepped gableted porch situated in the re-entrant angle of the structure.
The roofs are covered with slate, and the cottage has sash and case windows. At the rear, there is a small walled garden that adjoins the property.
