Description

The Road Bridge on Strathmartine Road in Bridgefoot was built in 1791. It features two arches and is constructed from rubble sandstone, with dressed voussoirs and gablet coping. The arches are segmental and have raised keystones, with the southeast keystone inscribed 'DL 1791' and an animal mask above the southwest keystone.
