Description
The gatepiers and railings at Wallacetown Nursery School on Crescent Street in Dundee were created in 1858 by Dens Works Foundry. They feature two cast-iron Egyptian columns topped with Greek urn finials, which depict bas-relief figures representing learning. The design includes simple wrought-iron gates and railings set on a low coursed rubble wall.
