Description
Craigieburn Stables is a rectangular-plan stable building dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It features lofts below the eaves and has a full-height wing added to the south in the mid-19th century, creating an L-plan block. The structure is built of whitewashed rubble with ashlar dressings, and the roofs are covered with graded slates.
The original range has a three-bay west elevation, with a central segmental-arched coachhouse and square-headed openings elsewhere. There have been some alterations to the original structure. The added wing includes a two-bay coachhouse and a tall narrow doorway.
