Description

West Cottage is an 18th-century pair of cottages with a 19th-century addition, situated on the south boundary of the churchyard in Keir Mill, next to the churchyard gate. The cottages are positioned as a pair adjoining. They are single-storey and three bays wide. The south-facing front has gabled, full-height door jambs. A lower, recessed range extends from the west gable. The cottages are constructed of whitewashed rubble with painted ashlar margins. They feature sash windows, end stacks, and roofs covered with graded slates.
