Description

Newington House in Annan dates from around 1820 and has undergone some alterations. It is a symmetrical villa that consists of a single storey over a raised basement, featuring three bays with the outer two being bowed. The central round-arched door is blocked and set within a plastered doorpiece, and there is a modern square porch located at the basement level. The building is finished in painted ashlar and includes a base course and cornice, with a modern piended roof that is squared over the curved bays. Additionally, there is a modern addition on the northwest flank.
