Description

Dods of Dumfries, sculptor. Dated 4 August 1892. Statue of

Edward Irving at SW end of parish churchyard. White marble

figure raised high on polished pink granite plinth; latter is

square and battered, with moulded cornice, unusual bulbous

detail at angles of base.
