Description
20 Scott's Street in Annan is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that is set back from the street. The exterior features stugged coursers that are painted, with contrasting margins and a pilastered central doorpiece. The entrance includes a panelled door topped with a fanlight. The house has sash windows that display a 12-pane glazing pattern. Architectural details include an eaves and lintel band, a cornice, straight skews, and corniced end stacks, all topped with a slate roof. At the rear, there is a near full-height wing dating from around 1840, which has shaped skewputts and a diamond apex stack with a cavetto cornice. The property is enclosed by a low boundary wall made of ashlar.
