Description
Seaforth is a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay villa built in the style of Walter Newall, likely dating from the 1860s or 1870s. The villa is constructed from droved red ashlar with polished dressings and architraves. The front elevation features a central porch supported by two slightly battered square monolithic columns, leading to a panelled door flanked by sidelights. The outer bays have canted ground floor windows, and all windows are designed with bracketed cills. The villa has three-bay flanks and axial stacks with grouped diamond flues, topped by a piended slate roof. At the rear, there is a single-storey, single-bay wing that includes a garage, which was originally a coach house. The property is enclosed by square gatepiers with projecting caps that have cavetto mouldings, complemented by cast-iron railings.
