Description

Middle Cottage is an early 19th century cottage row, situated on North Street in Moniave. It comprises three bays, with a corner section canted towards High Street, adding two further bays (a door and a window) to the right-hand house and a narrow pend facing High Street. The cottages are built of painted rubble, with painted margins. They feature 12-pane sash windows and coped axial stacks with slate roofs. A lower, gabled shed adjoins the north gable. The statutory address includes the former names of MacCreary’s Workshop and its corner location with High Street.
