North Cottage, North Street, Moniave

North Cottage is an early 19th century single-storey cottage row located on North Street, Moniave. The cottages are constructed of painted rubble with margin details. The building comprises two centre-doored, three-bay cottages, with a corner section canted towards High Street. This canting adds two further bays, including a door and a window, to the right-hand cottage. A narrow pend, or passageway, faces onto High Street. The windows are 12-pane sashes, and the roofs are slate covered with coped axial stacks. A lower, gabled shed is attached to the north gable. The statutory address is Moniave Village, North Street Cottages, formerly MacCreary's Workshop, at the corner with High Street.
