Spittal Bridge is an early 19th century, two-arch stone bridge located on the B733 at the boundaries of the Kirkcowan and Penninghame parishes, spanning the River Bladnoch. The bridge features segmental arch spans and has V-cutwater buttresses on each side. The main structure is made of dressed granite, including the spandrels, voussoirs, soffit, springers, and cutwaters. It also has a coped granite parapet. The subsidiary arch is constructed with brick voussoirs.
