Description
Waulk Mill House is a two-storey house built in 1828, featuring a T-plan layout and a symmetrical front with three bays. The exterior is constructed of packed rubble walling, with raised painted sandstone margins around the windows and at the corners. The central doorway has painted cavetto reveals and displays the date 1828 on the lintel. Above the door is a single light window, while the other windows are later bipartite designs. All windows are sash and case with plate glass glazing. The house has an eaves cornice and corniced end stacks with octagonal cans, topped by well-graded slate roofs. At the rear, there is a two-storey gabled wing made of painted rubble, featuring single light windows.
