Description

Dated 1821. Single storey and attic symmetrical wide 3-bay

house; H-plan. Coursed, dressed rubble, painted tooled

ashlar margins. Slightly recessed centre bay with corniced

entrance, double leaf door, lattice-pane fanlight and

date stone above. Wide flanking bays, simply pedimented

with centre attic windows, shorter but as wide as those

below. Paired ground floor windows in east and west

elevations, extra window off-centre in west elevation; rear

gable pedimented with attic window as in front. Rear court now

partially filled by similarly detailed later single storey

and attic wing 12-pane glazing; paired corniced ridge

stacks; slate roof.
