Description
Inverbrora is a house dated 1821, designed as a single storey and attic structure with a symmetrical wide three-bay H-plan. It is built from coursed, dressed rubble with painted tooled ashlar margins. The center bay is slightly recessed and features a corniced entrance with a double leaf door, a lattice-pane fanlight, and a date stone above. The wide flanking bays are simply pedimented and have attic windows that are shorter but as wide as the ground floor windows below. The east and west elevations each have paired ground floor windows, with an additional off-centre window on the west side. The rear gable is also pedimented and includes an attic window similar to the front. The rear court has been partially filled by a later single storey and attic wing that maintains similar detailing, including 12-pane glazing. The house features paired corniced ridge stacks and a slate roof.
