Description
The Walled Garden at Shambellie House in New Abbey likely dates from around 1860. It is a quadrangular garden, featuring a later glasshouse at the north and a shed, which may have been a former boiler house, located to the northeast. The walls are primarily constructed of white granite rubble, topped with red ashlar coping, and they rise up at the north side.
