Description

Old House in New Abbey is a 17th-century, two-storey house constructed from rubble with modern red ashlar margins and a boulder base. The east elevation features an off-centre first-floor door accessed by a forestair. The house has irregularly-placed windows fitted with modern glazing and two small loft openings positioned high on the south side. The building has skews with kneelers, end stacks, and is topped with a slate roof.
