Description
10 Laurieknowe is a two-storey terrace of four houses, built in the earlier 19th century, though not all at the same time. The terrace is arranged with three bays for No. 4, and two bays each for Nos. 2 and 10. The houses are situated on a slope, with Nos. 4 and 6 being deeper in plan and featuring basements. The paired doors are set back in a wide opening with a basket arch and blocked imposts. The exterior is finished in droved red ashlar, with Nos. 4 and 12 displaying rusticated quoins. Other doorways have square heads and recessed panelled doors, while Nos. 10 and 12 feature a basket-arched fanlight. The terrace has sash windows throughout, mostly with plate glass, and includes end stacks and a slate roof.
