Description

A terrace of four houses built in the late 18th century, located on the north side of Dogger Bank in Morpeth. The houses are constructed from ashlar stone and have a pantiled roof. They are three storeys high and eight bays wide, with a central arch providing access to a through passageway.

Each house originally comprised two bays. Numbers 2, 4, and 5 now have 20th-century six-panel doors with overlights; number 3 has a 20th-century glazed door. Number 2 retains its original 12-pane sash windows, while the others have various windows set within their original openings.

The central arch is round-headed and features a triple keystone, a panelled door, and a fanlight. The steeply-pitched roof has an old brick ridge stack and a renewed brick end stack.
