Description

Bow Villa is a house dating to 1824, built of ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure designed in the Greek Revival style. The front features a six-panel door set within a stone surround incorporating Doric pilasters and a cornice. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and margined lights, and have moulded sills and full-length aprons. The building is characterized by angle pilasters and a broad sill band to the first floor. There is a cornice and projecting eaves. The roof is shallow-pitched and hipped, with a large central brick stack featuring a dentil cornice.
