Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 16th or early 17th century, and has undergone alterations since its original construction. It is characterised by substantial walls constructed of large, random rubble approximately 3½ feet thick. The roof is covered in Welsh slate and the chimneys are rebuilt in brick. The house has two storeys and two windows, with a roughly-chamfered plinth. A boarded entrance door is located on the left-hand side, set within a plain wooden surround and moulded cornice. There are two-pane windows. Above the first-floor windows, old roof timbers have been reused as lintels. The steeply-pitched gabled roof has end stacks.
