Description
Walton Park Lodge is a late 19th-century lodge with a single-storey, attic structure and a single-storey gabled wing to the rear. It is constructed of squared ashlar with polished sandstone dressings. The central section features an advanced gabled porch supported by Roman Doric columns, with bipartite round-arched windows on either side of the entrance. Gabled attic dormers are also present. The windows are plate glass sashes throughout.
The building has deeply overhanging, timber-bracketed eaves and slate roofs. The porch roof is clad in fish-scale slates. Corniced stacks with octagonal flues are located on the rear wing.
Walton Park Lodge is part of a group listing with Walton Park and Walton Park Stables.
