Description
This is an early to mid-19th century road bridge, constructed of ashlar stone. It is a single segmental arch carrying the Langholm to Newcastleton road over the Tarras Water. The bridge features shallow, battered abutments and recessed arch-rings, with a sloping roadway. The statutory address is Tarras Bridge at Tarras Lodge.
