Description
Glebe House is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical house. It features painted rubble walls and windows that are either architraved or margined. The north gable is harled. There are steps with simple cast-iron balusters leading up to a Roman Doric doorpiece made of granite, which has pilasters and double-leaf doors. Above the door, there is a recessed bay with a tall single light window. Flanking the door are tripartite windows with granite monolith mullions, while the first floor has single light windows. A porch is located on the south gable. All windows are sash and case with plate glass glazing. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing made of painted rubble and harled material, along with a lower two-storey wing and a cat-slide addition. The roofs are piended slate, and there are tall end coped granite stacks.
