Description
75 St John Street in Creetown is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house. It is constructed from rubble with squared granite quoins and features painted raised margins. There are steps leading to a central doorway, which has a modern door with a fanlight above it. All the windows are single light sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The house has end skews and slate roofs, along with a small altered harled stack on the right side; the left stacks have been removed, and there are three skylights. The right flank of the house reveals rubble with chimneypieces and openings from a former adjoining house that was demolished. A sandstone ridge is present, and there is a small box dormer at the rear.
