Description

Thistle Cottage is an early 19th century, single-storey, three-bay cottage. The exterior is harled, featuring contrasting painted ashlar margins. It has a central panelled door with a small-paned fanlight above it, and sash windows that have a 12-pane glazing pattern. The west gable has had the skew removed, and the chimney stack has been rebuilt in brick. The east stack is made of coped ashlar, and the roof is covered with slate.
