Description
22-24 George Street in Whithorn is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house that includes a shop on the ground floor. The exterior is harled with raised painted margins.
On the ground floor, there is a central shop doorway featuring double-leaf panelled doors, which are flanked by three-light shop windows that display a mock-gothic lancet glazing pattern. The entrance to the house is located at the extreme right. The first floor has three single light windows, all of which are sash and case with four-pane glazing. The building is topped with slate roofs, and it has sandstone ridge and skews, along with slab skewputts and coped end stacks.
