Description
A late 19th and early 20th century summerhouse situated to the southwest of Maxwelton House. The summerhouse is semi-circular and built in a rustic style. It has a timber frame, with outer wall panels constructed of split twigs arranged in herringbone, diamond, and square patterns. The south side is open below the gable, which is supported by simple columns. A cobbled floor is present, and there are seats along the inner wall. The roof is covered in shingles.
