Description
An earlier or mid-19th century single-story lodge constructed of red sandstone ashlar. The south elevation features a canted inner portion with three windows and a crenellated parapet above the eaves. A single window is located to the left and a door to the right. The window and door openings are margined, and the windows are four-pane sashes. A central apex stack rises from the roof, which is piended with graded slates and projecting eaves extending over a rear addition at the northeast corner.
The gate piers are square and constructed of red ashlar, featuring cornices and flat pyramidal caps. Curved quadrant walls, which appear to have been rebuilt, are constructed of snecked stone with an ashlar cope. A reused datestone from 1710 is incorporated into the south side of the walls.
