Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay manse. Whin rubble with red ashlar dressings now mostly painted. Recessed panelled door, with rectangular fanlight, set in pilastered doorpiece; ground floor windows corniced and architraved, plain margins at 1st floor. Glazing mostly modern, 2 windows have plate glass sashes. Eaves/lintel band; skews and end stacks; roofed with graded slates. Rear wings.

Ashlar-coped low walls form boundary with Mains Street; modern iron railings; simple gatepiers, milestone

incorporated at SW corner. Walled court to N and detached outbuilding (Coach house) with 4 square-headed openings facing house.
