Description

Cardoness Castle Cottage is a single storey and attic cottage built in the later 19th century. It features painted rubble with painted margins. The central doorway has a fanlight and is flanked by single light windows, which are sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The cottage has slate roofs with coped end stacks that include thackstanes. There are also a pair of piended slated dormers that break through the roof. To the left, there is a single storey wing with a piend roof.
