Description

Shortrig Farmhouse is a late 19th-century farmhouse built in an asymmetrical style. It has two storeys, with gabled bays, and windows that are either single or bipartite, using plate glass or two-pane sashes. The eaves project, and there are coped stacks. The farmhouse is largely constructed of squared rubble with ashlar dressings, but incorporates earlier fabric at ground level on the north side. The roofs are covered with graded slates.
