Description

The gate piers and quadrant walls at the southwest entrance of the Embassy Hotel in Newbridge were designed by architect Walter Newall in the early 19th century. The structure features square outer piers topped with plain coping and a blocking course. These piers are connected by convex dwarf walls that support plain cast-iron railings. The circular gate piers are corniced and adorned with antefixae. The material used is painted ashlar.
