Description
This is a two-storey, three-bay building dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, located on High Street in Ecclefechan. The front elevation is rendered with painted ashlar margins. The windows are mostly sash windows with a four-pane glazing pattern. A prominent band runs along the eaves and under the lintels, and there is an eaves cornice. The roof is covered with graduated slates, with straight roof skews and corniced end stacks. The central bay features a front door with a fanlight above, and the right bay appears to have been a former shop, indicated by a blocked door. The building is part of a group with Carlyle Place. The statutory address is P Quinn, Ecclefechan Village, High Street.
