Description

1825, joinerwork by Gregan and Creighton. Greek revival

Assembly Rooms, now Masonic Lodge. 2-storey and railed

basement. 5 bays; symmetrical. Polished red ashlar and

architraves. Balustraded Doric porch with paired columns,

end bays shallow advanced and with balustraded 1st floor

aprons. Corniced ground floor windows. Band/cill courses

between floors; 2-bay return elevation to Irving Street;

main cornice and blocking course. End stacks; slate roof.
