Description
The Crawick Viaduct, part of the Closeburn-New Cumnock railway line, was engineered by John Miller and opened on October 28, 1850. This railway viaduct features six round arches that span the Crawick water and the B740, crossing the glen. It is constructed from channelled bullfaced ashlar with rusticated voussoirs and battered piers. Below the brick parapets, there is a string course and iron railings.
