Description
East Lodge at Dunragit House is a single-storey lodge built in the late 18th to early 19th century. The building features a bowed and crenellated west side with a bowed roof, while the east side has a gabled design. The exterior is made of painted rubble, with red sandstone coping along the crenellation.
On the south elevation, there is a door to the left and a window to the right, with the bowed west elevation slightly protruding to the left. The east elevation has two flanking oculi in the gable head, and a modern glazed porch is attached to the right at ground level.
The north elevation includes a modern flat-roofed extension. The windows are fitted with plate glass glazing in sash and case style, and the oculi have 4-pane fixed glazing. The east side features red sandstone coped skews and a painted rubble gablehead stack. The roof is covered with small grey slates.
