Description
The dovecot at Genoch Mains is an early 19th-century cylindrical tower. It is constructed of rendered rubble, although much of the render has flaked off. There is a doorway on the north side, and an opening with a slate cill at the eaves on the east side. Additionally, there is an opening on the south side. A brick corbel course runs along the eaves, which was originally rendered. The roof is covered with small grey slates and features an ogee shape topped by a slated cupola, which includes flight-holes and an iron finial. Brick nesting boxes remain on the west side and above the north doorway.
