Description
Copper Cottage is an early 19th-century, three-bay symmetrical single-storey cottage that was formerly a police station. It is constructed of pinned rubble granite with bull-faced monolithic granite margins. The central doorway features a narrow fanlight, and there are sash windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The cottage has coped end stacks and slate roofs. The flanks are painted, and there is a single-storey brick lean-to addition at the rear. Inside, two doors to the cells have been retained.
