Description
This building is an earlier 19th century three-storey tenement located at 9-13 Castle Street in Dumfries, featuring modern shop fronts at the ground level beneath a frieze and a dentilled cornice. It is constructed from droved red ashlar with polished dressings and has six bays, with all but one bay showcasing simplified first-floor Venetian windows, while the upper floors have single windows. The building includes an eaves and lintel band, a cornice, straight skews, cut-down stacks, and a slate roof.
