Description
3-7 Bedford Place in Alloa is a building from the later 1820s. The original part is a 2-storey structure with an attic and features a three-window front made of droved ashlar. It has pilastered ends and a Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece. There is a later addition of a bay window and two canted dormers. The east wing, which is a two-window section, has a pend arch that has been built up as a window. Additionally, there is a two-storey, four-window double-house block incorporated on the east side, which is also made of quoined droved ashlar and features two fanlight doorpieces and one canted dormer. The entire building is slated throughout.
