Description
The churchyard of the Old Parish Church in Kirkgate, Alloa, features a high enclosure made of rubble walls. It includes two pairs of rusticated gatepiers, one of which is built up, while the other has ball finials. The site contains a notable collection of 18th century monuments, including a Doric aedicule dedicated to Robert Johnston from 1739, which has a scrolled pediment, and a monument for John Jamieson from 1825 that is adorned with Roman Doric columns and a pediment.
