Description

The Mar and Kellie Mausoleum, located at the Old Parish Church on Kirkgate in Alloa, was designed by J Gillespie Graham around 1819. This Gothic structure features a three-bay design made of droved ashlar stone and has a plaster vaulted interior adorned with impressive painted decoration. Inside, there are wall tablets dating from 1572 and 1582, along with two notable rococo cartouche monuments from 1709, as well as other memorials.
