Description

10-16 Bank Street in Alloa was built between 1873 and 1874 as the Burgh Chambers. This Victorian Renaissance building is two stories tall and features five windows on the first floor. It has Corinthian pilastered end bays, alternating pediments, and a balustraded parapet. The entrance includes a Corinthian column porch with a large coat of arms and a balustrade above, along with a pendant arch in the west bay. The interior was reconstructed following a fire in 1906.
