Description

Early 20th century. 2-storey, 6-bay. Rendered, timber framed Old English houses. Red sandstone surrounds to openings at ground; overhanging timber eaves; dividing band course; corniced dormers, oriels and bay windows.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: bay to left comprises 3-light canted window at ground; single window at 1st floor breaking eaves. Timber panelled door at ground in bay to inner left; single light at 1st floor above. Pair of advanced gabled bays to centre; 2-light windows at ground; 3-light canted oriel windows at 1st floor above. Single windows to ground and 1st floor in bay to inner right. 3-light canted window at ground; single window at 1st floor breaking eaves in bay to outer right.

Variety of glazing patterns and methods of opening, including small pane timber sash and case windows, casements and fixed windows. Grey slate roof; red ridge tiles; moulded skews; coped ridge stacks; circular cans; rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped boundary wall with vehicular entrances at outer left and right.
