92, 94 Ferry Road, Leith, Edinburgh

4-6 North Fort Street in Leith, Edinburgh, dates from around 1860 and consists of two-storey flatted dwellings arranged in a continuous terrace that turns the corner with a canted angle and includes a shop at ground level. The building features stugged ashlar with ashlar dressings, a base course, a cill course to the first floor, a cornice, and a blocking course. The facade has regular fenestration, with doors that have rectangular fanlights, raised architraves, and cornices.

On the North Fort Street elevation, there are nine bays with doors located in alternate bays, starting from the penultimate left bay. The penultimate right bay is blank at the first floor and has a wallhead stack, while the right bay features a shop window at ground level and a blind window above.

The Ferry Road elevation showcases the canted angle, with a modern door to the shop at ground level, complete with a bracketed cornice and a window above. There are four bays to the right, with the far right bay also canted. This section includes replacement showroom windows at ground level, separated by a tenement door to the penultimate right bay, and a single piend-roofed canted dormer.

The rear elevation is constructed of rubble. The building has timber sash and case windows with four panes, some featuring plate glass and some being replacements. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks and ashlar coped mutual skews on the outer flanks. The walls include a low coursed stone front wall topped with ashlar saddleback coping.
