89, 91, 93 Ferry Road, Edinburgh

This building, located at 89, 91, and 93 Ferry Road in Edinburgh, is an early 19th-century symmetrical terrace. It features two storeys, a basement, and an attic, with a total of seven bays. The exterior is made of cream droved ashlar sandstone with polished dressings, and the basement is finished with bull-faced stone. The terrace has a base course, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are regularly spaced, with architraves at the ground level.

Steps lead down to the basement recess, where there are panelled doors with rectangular fanlights and cornices above the central three bays. The roof has four large piend-roofed dormers. There are two basement flats, and the north gable end is a blank rubble wall. The rear elevation has a taller wallhead.

The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the original stone stacks have been extended in rendered brick, with ashlar coped skews.

Additionally, there are cast-iron railings along the steps and areas, as well as low coped rendered front and side walls.
