Description

Mid 18th century, remodelled extensively earlier 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay house with Tudor details. Rendered to front faintly lined as ashlar, harled to side. Base course; deep hoodmoulds over upper half of all windows.

NE (FRONT) ELEVATION: low doorway to centre with timber architrave and arched hoodmould, flat-panelled door with top panes glazed. Regular fenestration above and to outer bays.

SE ELEVATION: gabled with tall apex stack; window to gablehead.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Steeply pitched purple slate roof (formerly thatched?) with stone ridge; apex stack (see above). Stone skews.

INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
