Description

The Quarry is a house that dates back to 1682, with a core from the 18th century or earlier. It was remodeled in the mid-19th century in a Tudor style. The exterior is roughcast with stone dressings and features steep tiled roofs with shaped gables. The house has two storeys and an attic.

On the south elevation, there are 18th-century three-light sash windows with glazing bars, along with two plain parapeted gables and a gabled dormer in between. The north front displays shaped and plain gables, with 19th-century mullion and transom casements set in chamfered openings that have moulded cornices. There is an elliptical arched doorway at the center of this elevation. The east elevation also has shaped and plain gables, similar window styles, and a splayed bay window on the ground floor. Brick chimney stacks are present, some featuring 19th-century cornices.
