Description

Old Swinford Hospital is a late 17th century building founded in 1667. It features red brick with stone dressings and stands three stories tall. The façade includes seven two-light mullioned windows set within plain architraves. A stone arched doorcase, adorned with a bowed hood and massive side volutes, is a prominent feature. The building has moulded stringcourses and angle dressings, along with three plain gables covered in old tiles and brick stacks. At the center, there is a tower topped with a cupola and a clock face, all within a curved open pediment.
